Ancient Intelligence for Modern Life
What are you carrying?
Wisdom for life and leadership, drawn from the book of Proverbs and tested in the real work of ministry and marketplace — for the team you're leading, the church you're planting, the marriage you're building, or the hard season you're just trying to get through.
For marketplace leaders · church planters and shepherds · couples building a life together · anyone carrying something heavy right now.
About Steve
I'm Steve Lewey — marketplace chaplain, author, and a founding partner with Maxwell Leadership. My training runs through a BA in Mass Communications from Western Kentucky University and an MA in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary, but most of what I teach was learned the harder way — in boardrooms, small groups, and hard conversations.
I live in the Piedmont of North Carolina with my wife, who's been part of this work every step of the way. These days you'll find me writing, coaching leaders one-on-one, speaking when I'm invited, officiating the occasional wedding, and trying (with mixed success) to stay out of the weeds of admin work I was never quite built for.
If you're carrying something heavy — a team, a marriage, a hard season, a calling you can't quite name — I'd be glad to walk with you for a while.
